Hi, I’m Lauren Mantey, a real estate agent in Costa Rica. I grew up in the Philadelphia area and later found myself in the heart of bustling Miami, deeply entrenched in the world of Corporate America – a successful, rising star in the fast-paced business world, yet yearning for something more profound.

A trip to Costa Rica changed everything. What started as a fun-filled girls’ getaway introduced me to the next phase of my life: Captivated by Costa Rica’s friendly people, stunning landscapes, and ideal weather, I took the leap, leaving the corporate world in search of something… more.

Embracing change, I not only moved abroad but also bought a business in Costa Rica. Fueled by my passion for this new venture, I dove into the real estate industry as a real estate agent in Costa Rica, absorbing everything I could until I eventually found my way to Blue Water Properties of Costa Rica.

Here, I embraced every opportunity to grow, expand my network, and discover my true place in the world: meeting people from all over and helping them realize their dreams in Costa Rica.

I’ve been the top agent at Blue Water Properties for several years and am a proud member and on the board of CRGAR, Costa Rica’s leading professional real estate organization. I work with buyers, sellers, investors, and developers, and I’ve even co-developed projects in the North Pacific area. I also co-own. Protti-Masis Design and MMP Property Management.

While my aspirations run deep and wide, my true passion remains connecting with clients and facilitating their successes. For me, real estate is all about people. Laura Masis

Showing Agent/Property Manager/Interior Designer

In addition to managing our property management company and working as Lauren’s showing agent, Laura Masis co-owns Protti-Masis Design and MMP Property Management and is your local connection for home décor, furnishings, and other inspiration for interior design and home staging. She’s also the assistant and apprentice to Lauren Mantey, one of Blue Water Properties’ top consultants.
